In the steep and mysterious mountains of the Moroccan Rif, where the fog dances on the hilltops and the sun caresses the golden fields every morning, the Elkorti family perpetuates an ancestral tradition: the cultivation of cannabis. For generations, this family has cultivated and transformed this plant with care and respect, in symbiosis with the land that saw them born.

The Roots of Tradition

The Elkorti family has been rooted in the Rif for as long as the memory of the elders can recall. The grandfather, now elderly but still lively, often tells his grandchildren the stories of the ancestors who already cultivated the land long before him.

Over the years, the Elkortis have become experts in the field, perfecting their cultivation methods and learning the subtleties of the Rif soil and climate, unique for the cultivation of this plant. For them, cannabis was not only an agricultural product, but a way of life and preserving their culture in a Morocco in full modernization.

Over the years, the Elkorti family has also adopted certain modern practices to improve their production without sacrificing the quality or integrity of their know-how. Very close to the hashmaker Goldbar420 in Switzerland, they have terraced their fields, using the natural slopes of the mountains to reduce erosion and capture rainwater. They also invested in retention basins before anyone else, then in traditional drying techniques to preserve the aromas and therapeutic qualities of their harvest, specific to Morocco.

Dry Sift

Bubble Hash (Ice-O-Lator)

Produced using ice water and filter bags to separate the trichomes from the plant.
Can be of different qualities depending on the number of microns of the bags, from low-end to "full melt". Sandy or sticky texture depending on the type, with a high concentration of THC and a pure taste of cannabis.
This technique is only used on medical THC productions in Morocco, because the THC content on CBD productions becomes too high once filtered, too pure.

Fresh frozen hash

Fresh frozen hash is a type of hashish made from cannabis flowers that have been frozen immediately after harvest. This method preserves as much of the terpenes (aromatic compounds) and cannabinoids present in the plant as possible, resulting in a hash that is particularly pure, rich in aromas, and powerful.
Fresh frozen hash can be consumed in various ways: by vaporization, by dab (inhalation of heated concentrated extracts), or in edible preparations. Due to its complex aromatic profile and its high cannabinoid content, it is often prized by connoisseurs and users looking for a high-quality experience.

Immediate Freezing: As soon as the cannabis is harvested, it is directly frozen, without going through the usual drying or curing process. This immediate freezing helps retain the freshness of the trichomes, preserves the volatile terpenes, and prevents the degradation of the cannabinoids.
Bubble Hash: Once frozen, the cannabis is used to produce hash using a technique called *bubble hash or ice water extraction. The process involves soaking the frozen flowers in very cold water and shaking them to loosen the trichomes. The ice water helps preserve the quality of the trichomes while allowing them to be effectively separated from the rest of the plant material.
Filtration and Drying: The detached trichomes are then passed through filter bags of different microns (sieve bags) to separate the different sizes of resin glands. The harvested trichomes are then carefully dried to prevent any mold growth.

Hashish Static( Static )

Hashish static, also known as static dry sift or static hash, is a modern method of trichome extraction that uses static electricity to separate trichomes from cannabis plant material without solvent.
In this method, electrostatic properties are used to attract trichomes (the resin glands that contain cannabinoids and terpenes) while leaving other parts of the plant material behind. By rubbing a plastic surface (such as a PVC card or plastic sheet) against a cloth, a static charge is created. This charged surface is then passed over the sieved kief or plant material.
Trichomes, which are rich in resin, are naturally attracted to this static charge and adhere to the plastic, while lightweight plant particles (which do not have the same affinity for static charge) do not adhere as easily.
